Personal Life :
Richa Agnihotri is a dancer – actress originally from Thane. Her family includes her parents – Father Vikas Agnihotri and Mother Vaishnavi Agnihotri. The family has an arts based background, as the parents ran the Tapasya Sangeet Academy.
For her education, she went to Kendra Vidyalaya in Thane followed by KJ Somaiya College in Mumbai to pursue her BMS.
A good student, she scored 94% marks in her SSC and 91% in her HSC exam. Her training in Kathak dance began first under her Mother’s supervision and later with guru Manjiri Dev.
Professional Life :
Richa’s journey to the glamour world began in 2014 with the Miss Thane contest where she beat the other finalists to be the winner. Prior to that, she also participated in beauty contests in her college.
ON TV, she was first noticed on the Colors Marathi dance based show Dholkichya Talavar, where she impressed the audience with her charming lavani performances and was one of the top 5 finalists.
Work in South :
She later moved to the South, specifically the Kannada TV industry where she stared in the dance show titled KICK. The show was judged by superstar Rajkumar’s son Shiv Rajkumar.
Her other assignments have included advertising for brands like Amul Butter and being a side dancer for many Award functions.
