Uma Sardeshmukh is an popular Marathi actress and has appeared in a number of Marathi films as well as number of Marathi TV shows like Peshwai, Tujha Majha Jamena. She became popular for playing Spruha Joshi’s mom in the TV serial Eka Lagnachi Tisri Goshta.
In her childhood, she participated in many acting competitions but took a long break and only again started acting at age 45.
She now mostly plays the role of a mother in most of her movies and serials.
