- Leah Remini was born as Leah Marie Remini in Brooklyn, New York City.
- When she was around thirteen, Leah, along with her mother, moved to Los Angeles, California. Since then, they both started living in California.
- Her family included her parents – Her father, George Remini, was into the business of asbestos exclusion. Her mother, Vicki Marshall, was a school teacher. Leah’s mother is a descent of Austrian Jewish, and her father comes of Sicilian origin.
- Leah has an elder sister, Nicole, and four half-sisters named Christine Castellucci, Elizabeth Remini, and Shannon Farrara. Christine passed away in 2013.
- Leah is best friends with Jenifer Lopez. She got married to Angelo Pagan on July 19, 2003. They first met at a Cuban eatery in 1996.

- She made her debut on TV on the hit show, Head of The Class in 1988. In 1989, followed by the success of Head of The Class, she featured in few episodes of Who’s the Boss?
- Leah got her biggest break in 1989, on her own show on ABC, Living Dolls. It was a spin-off of the show The Boss. The show also featured Halle Berry. Though the show didn’t grab much attention, Leah got popular through that show.
