Education and Early Career :

Brooke attended Purcell Marian High School and then transferred to Ursula Academy. Both schools are located in the East Walnut Hills neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio.

After graduating high school in 1997, Brooke headed to Coastal Carolina University (CCU) in Conway, South Carolina, where she also played basketball, softball, and tennis, all at a varsity level.
Throughout university, Weisbrod was a talented athlete. She captured several awards such as the Big South Conference’s Player of the Year, the Big South Conference’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year, NCAA Woman of the year for South Carolina in 2001 & was even inducted into Coastal Carolina University’s Hall of Fame in 2007.
In addition to excelling at athletics, Brooke was a hardworking student. She graduated ‘Magna-Cum-Laude’ in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.

Brooke pursued a brief professional career in Germany’s Malburg Marlin before being forced to retire at 21 due to a back injury.
After her injury, she moved to Chicago with hopes of doing marketing initially, which was her major in college. There, she began working for GSD&M, an advertising agency, as an assistant media buyer.

Upon returning to her old college campus for a visit, Brooke realized her interest in sports broadcasting.
In 2003, the retired athlete became a women’s college basketball analyst with ESPN Regional. Eventually, she worked as an analyst for many sporting events, both men and women.
Since then, she has worked with many popular sports channels, including Fox Sports, WGN, NBC Sports, CBS Sports, Big Ten Network, WNBA, MLS and Sporting News.

In 2013, Brooke worked as an analyst for WNBA’s Chicago Sky.
