Mallika Dua is originally from New Delhi, India and later moved to Mumbai to pursue her career. For her education, she went to the Modern School in Barakhamba Road. Mallika is half-Derawal and half-Tamil Brahmin by lineage.
Her further education includes graduation viz. a theatre major from Franklin and Marshall College in the USA. Her advertising career first started as a trainee with the McCain Erickson agency & later at Contract Advertising.
