I first met Abby at the Kansas City Police Department headquarters during their safety equipment telethon where I had the honor of presenting the Fox4 “Pay it Forward” award; then answered phones for the rest of the day.
She would probably remember me because as soon as she stepped into the room, I shouted, “there she is — Miss Personality Plus!!!”
Abby is nothing short of genuine and she brings SO MUCH character and laughter to morning news — something so needed in times like these.
Abby left Fox4 for a short time; KC was saddened to lose her but OVERJOYED that she eventually returned.
