I am just learning that Ashlee DeMartino has been let go from Channel 5 news/weather. She is a true professional and more highly qualified than anyone on that team, except for Yetta whom I also like very much. The others are just so so. I miss her so much. Her presence, her ability to speak clearly, to tell the news without her having given her opinion on it.
Bring this very professional newscaster/weather person back. She is the high-level quality you need for your station. The others don’t bring a lot to the table.
Ashlee, I have been in the hospital and rehab, so when I finally got home turned on the news, and checked the CBS web page and again no, where did you go and what did they do to you.
You were and still are the only weather person plus outside reporter that speaks clearly and gives just the proper facts. I am 75, and I have watched a lot of news reports, and I was just blown away when you appeared. You were what I have been looking for on the news. Whoever taught you your craft should be THANKED because you really learned your craft. I’m not just saying this just to blow smoke.
My late wife had a P.H.d in physiology. We were married for 38 years. She also said you were one of the best professionals on TV.
