Thereafter in 2011, to further excel in her field, she completed her Masters in Meteorology.
During her university years, Michelle served as both a Teaching Assistant and later as an Instructor for Atmospheric Science courses at The University of Missouri from 2008 to 2010.

Michelle began her career at KOMU-TV in January 2008 as a weathercaster, slowly and steadily climbed up to serve as the Evening Meteorologist in Columbia, Missouri
Her responsibilities in KOMU-TV were manyfold which gave her exposure to explore her talents. There she prepared and delivered weather forecasts for on-air, used and learned how to generate graphics from the WSI, produced & recorded the forecast.
She even visited locals schools to enhance students’ knowledge regarding weather & assisted seniors during weather coverage.
In 2012, she became the part of WDAF-TV (Fox 4) team in Kansas City and continues to work there as a Mid Morning and Noon Meteorologist.
She considers covering the Joplin Tornado to be one of the major highlights of her career.
As of now, Michelle has been with WDAF-TV for over 13 years, establishing herself as a cornerstone of the Fox 4 morning weather team.
Beyond television, Michelle also provides weather forecasts for Life 88.5 radio in Kansas City, demonstrating her versatility across media platforms.
