Akshaya Deodhar (also credited as Akshya Devdhar) is a young Marathi actress from the city of Pune. She became famous for her lead role in the Zee Marathi serial Tujhyat Jiv Rangala.

Her education was completed at the Ahilyadevi High School and BMCC college in Pune. She won the Maharashtra Times’ Mata Shravan Queen Award in 2012.

Her family includes her parents – Father Mahesh Deodhar and mother Archana Deodhar.

Natak Career

In 2016, she was seen in the natak titled “Item” along with Dil Dosti Duniyadari fame actor Amey Wagh.

Her other notable performances in theatre include the nataks – Binkaamache Sanwaad, Darshan, Sangeet Manapman and few others.

Most of her performances in theatre have been with Natak Company, a theatre group based in Pune founded by Nipun Dharmadhikari.

Tujhyat Jeev Rangala or TJR :

In 2016, her big break came with the Zee Marathi serial Tujhyat Jiv Rangala, where she stars as Anjali, the love interest of the main lead Ranaa, played by actor Hardik Joshi.

Her role of a teacher who falls in love with a simple minded bodybuilder has been well appreciated by the audience. The serial had replaced the short running show Nanda Saukhyabhare.

TJR quickly went on to become one of the best loved shows on Zee Marathi, because of its simple characters & fresh acting.
