Early Life and Career :
- Shilpa Thakre worked for two years in the multi-national company Tech Mahindra as a Consultant.
- Initially, it was difficult for her to prepare for auditions as she worked in the day shift at Tech Mahindra. So, she made a small change & started working in the night shift in company for 1.5 years, so she can go for various auditions during day time.
- However, Shilpa truly became well-known and an internet sensation after she started posting dancing videos on social media.
- Due to this type of extraordinary fame, Shilpa has bagged total 4 films as a lead role.
- She made her debut in Karan Tandale’s Movie ‘Perfume’ as a supporting actress. Unfortunately, her first film ‘Prema’ which was unreleased.
- One of her other prominent roles was in the short-film named ‘Summi – A Bitter Truth’. It has won multiple National and International Film Festival awards.
