Tanvi Anil Palav was born in Dadar, Mumbai.
Parents : Her father’s name is Anil Palav and her mother’s name is Dipti Palav.
Siblings : Sudesh Palav is her brother.

Tanvi is the niece of renowned Calligraphy master of India Achhut Palav.
Tanvi was studying in King George School in Dadar, Mumbai, and later shifted to Bhandup, Mumbai. Her later schooling was done at the IES English High School in Bhandup.
Thereafter, she completed her B.A. (Eco) from Ramnarain Ruia College in Mumbai.

A well-trained dancer, Tanvi has passed the first class examination for Kathak Dance, conducted by All India Gandharva College.
Not only has she learned to dance, she also has a keen sense of classical music. She has received singing lessons from Pandit Suresh Wadkar and also played harmonium lessons with Mrs. Prem Vasant.

She participated in a classical dance at the South Asian University Youth Festival 1 (Soufest 2), held in Bangladesh.
Tanvi has played a leading role in the ballets of Romeo and Juliet, Durga Zali Gauri, Punch-Tantra etc.

She had done many commercial ads for brands like Reliance Jewels, Whisper Choice Ultra, etc.
