Introduction :
Tejashree Walavalkar was born in Pune. She started acting at a very young age of 4 when she acted in a short film titled Fantastic Life of Mr Tripathi. She attended the Huzurpaga Girls School in Pune. Her early training in acting was done at Smita Talwalkar’s Asmita Chitra Academy.
Her family includes her parents – Mother Jagruti and Father Avadhoot Walavalkar.
Professional Life :
Her role as the young Ramabai Ranade in the serial Unch Majha Jhoka was extremely popular. For the audition of this role, she had to play games like Fugadi and skipping rope and beat almost 400 other young candidates. The role of Chabbu in Subhash Phadke’s movie Aaji Ani Naat was also well received. Some of her favourites, as mentioned in an interview, are as follows:
