• Elizabeth Noreika (pronounced similar to “eureka”) is a news presenter who works for the Fox 8 News, based in Cleveland. It’s her love for news, that she always remains updated about the things going her & around the world.
• While she was in elementary school, Elizabeth discovered that she has respect for those who work on the desk & behind the camera and since then, the field has always been an attraction for her.

• Now in her late thirties, Elizabeth grew up in Geauga County, Ohio, & is a native of the small township of Huntsburg, Ohio.
• She completed her Bachelor of Science (BS) / Bachelor of Arts degree in the field of Political Science & Government/Communications from the Ohio University in Cleveland.
• While growing up, she followed local news & co-incidentally she is now an anchor/reporter in her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, at Fox 8. One could find her every weeknight at 7 PM.

• Elizabeth stays in Cleveland with her loving husband Joshua Robertson. The couple also has a cute pet cat named Harvey. Joshua is a policeman and was awarded the Lifesaving Award in July 2019, for rescuing a child’s life from a building on fire. She loves her partner a lot and once publicly posted that he is the spiritual leader of their family, in addition to being selfless, courageous, caring, and the most wonderful individual on the planet!
• Her mother’s passing away due to cancer made Elizabeth a stronger person and she wants to be like her.
• Quite fond of cooking, Elizabeth often cooks and bakes for her husband, family and friends on weekends. Because of her interest in various cuisines, she likes to follow and watch the Food Network, especially Cupcake Wars and Chopped. It’s not surprising that she would want to be a baker if she wasn’t working in television!
• During childhood, Elizabeth’s favorite cartoon was ‘My Little Ponies’.
• The top three songs on her playlist are Metallica’s “Sad But True”, Train’s “Drops of Jupiter”, and The Flys’ “Got You Where I want You”.
• Her last name Noreika is of Lithuanian origin. She speaks a few words of the Lithuanian language, but nothing more.

• In 2006, soon after graduating college, Elizabeth started working at WOAY where she first learned & experienced the art of reporting. At WOAY, she reported as the weekend weather anchor also gained the skills of pre and post-production of stories.
• After that, she worked for eight years at WCHS-TV ABC 8 & WVAH-TV Fox 11 in Charleston, West Virginia.
• She joined WHDH in January 2014 in Boston. There she was a co-anchor and did the evening newscast at 4, 4:30 and 5:30 PM. Besides she also contributed at 10 o’clock broadcast by producing & introducing a consumer segment.
• At present, she is associated with WJW Fox 8 as an anchor/reporter, based in Cleveland, Ohio.

An inspiring news figure who spent most of her career in West Virginia, Elizabeth has been rewarded with several honors and awards for covering numerous stories such as a mining disaster etc. She has been honored with the following titles :
