- While working behind the scenes, Erica also got her first taste of on-camera journalism when she served as the 2012 sideline reporter for the Lakers G-League affiliate, the Los Angeles D-Fenders.
- She then earned a coveted position in the baseball world, working as a host and reporter with the Los Angeles Dodgers from 2014 to 2016.
- In 2016, Erica moved to Arizona to work as a sports anchor and reporter for KGUN-TV. After two years with the station, she moved to St. Louis, Missouri, to work for Fox Sports Midwest as a host and reporter, primarily covering the MLB’s Cardinals and the NHL’s Blues.
- Soon, she has also had the opportunity to cover teams in neighboring cities, and in 2018 she unofficially “made it” in the industry after being initiated with the notorious “Salvy Splash” by Kansas City Royals player Salvador Perez.
