  1. Esme:

    You look so tired – could I suggest some makeup and maybe a new haircut with bangs. Your forehead is so large that soft bangs would really give you a refreshed look. I am sorry to give you bad news but you have been looking so old lately – please take this advice and try something new. Blessings.

  2. Hi Esme,

    A few years back we had met briefly on a job site I was o in St. Paul…I had a steel ladder come down on my hand and you offered to drive me to the hospital. You were with your cameraman doing an interview with a gal about her dog…I am not sure if you would remember me or not, but I might have a story for you! If you thought it might be newsworthy I’d like you to cover it. Today there are very few people that would offer a ride to the hospital when they are busy with an interview or not.

    Thanks again;

  3. Esme, thank you. You’re one of only a few local TV news reporters that I have recognize and have respected ever since you arrived at WCCO a few short years ago. Over the years that I’ve been a fan of WCCO 10 o’clock news, you brought a different perspective to this fairly closed off media-society in Minnesota. Thank you for your directness, candor, and honesty in reporting stories that have meaning. When someone asks me if I were to approach a local media reporter about a serious matter, I let them know that you’d be the journalist I’d want to share an important story.

    PS: I used to love sightings of you in Byerly’s, but I’m too Minnesota nice to approach you (“bother you”) while you’re out living life privately amongst us.

  4. Did you see that Gov Walz and Jan Malcolm conspired to inflate MN Covid numbers so the draconian measures Walz wanted to take and did take were better supported? Leaked emails. I’m furious and you wonder why people don’t trust the government? Investigate it, Esme. Please! For those of us who had our lives upended with kids home from school. The lack of socialization and fear-mongering. Disgusting! Heads should roll!!

  5. Hello Esme, I absolutely love your name. I enjoy your reporting and you’ve been with CCO so long. I remember Dave Moore the show on Saturday night was called the bedtime snooze…that would crack me up he would jump on a Sealy mattress with a drink in his hand. Anyway keep up the good work maybe in my next life I’ll be, reporter. Merry Christmas ☃️☃️ and happy New Year!
