- Shaquille Benjamin Brewster was born on January 6, 1993, in New York City.
- He was raised by his mother, Sandy Peters (née Riley). He has a stepfather, Sean Peters.
- Shaquille has a younger sister, Tracie Slade.
- He grew up in Stratford, Connecticut, and went to the Frank Scott Bunnell High School.

- Shaquille describes himself as a thrill seeker and is very passionate about extreme sports such as paragliding and skydiving. He also loves jumping off things for the sport.
- His career in politics was a product of his late grandmother’s influence on him. Alfreda Brewster was a civil rights activist and instilled this passion In her grandson when he was in high school.
- Shaquille was part of the ‘road warriors’ team for NBC News during the 2020 Presidential campaign. His team primarily covered Senator Bernie Sanders’ campaign.

IMO, Shaquille Brewster is an excellent reporter and broadcast journalist. He travels anywhere an important news story is. He possesses versatility in his field. An example of “old style” journalism. Never inserts his opinions. Just the facts. I believe too many broadcast journalists inject their personal opinions. Just report the facts and let the audience decide their own perspective. He is an exceptional reporter.
I hope Shaquille gets an opportunity to host his own news show soon. Great reporter!

He was terrific interviewing people in the crowd during the Minneapolis trial. He asked excellent questions and had great follow-up questions so that the interviewee gave more depth to the original answer.
Mr. Brewster is an excellent reporter who’s very efficient in his execution of facts to the media. He’s a very detailed oriented reporter who breaks the news as it is. The very best to him in his future.

Brewster seems like a natural reporter. I always pay attention to his stories because he is so engaged and prepared. And then he has a certain youthfulness going for him, as well as being stylish.
