Sharon Ní Bheoláin (maiden name Sharon Boland) is a famous Irish television newsreader, presenter and broadcaster.
She was born on February 15, 1971, and grew up with her three younger siblings. She was not a native Irish speaker by birth.

Growing up in Malahide, Ní Bheoláin attended the Malahide Community School.
For her further education, she graduated from Trinity College, Dublin (TCD), with a Bachelor of Arts degree in early and modern Irish.

Dating and Marriage :

In 1999, the RTE news presenter married Kevin Cantrell, a freelance cameraman. After the marriage, the couple lived in Clontarf on Dublin’s northside. Around 2003, the couple was blessed with a daughter named Faye.
Their marriage ended around 2005. The split took place around the same time that Sharon became a permanent fixture on RTE News Six One. After the split, Kevin moved out of the house. Sharon kept the separation out of the public eye as she concentrated on bringing up her daughter. The couple continues to share custody of their daughter after their split.

Ni Bheolain began her career with RTÉ (Raidió Teilifís Éireann/Radio Television Ireland) in 1994 when she presented presenting ‘Nuacht,’ which was a news bulletin.

In the year 1997, she became the presenter of News 2. Throughout the early 2000s, she had sporadic appearances on various RTÉ News programs, including the Six One News, Nine O’Clock program and RTÉ Two’s News programs.
She had previously worked on the RTÉ series ‘Turas Teanga’, which helped viewers learn the Irish language.

In 2014, Sharon was a victim of two online stalkers. Firstly, she suffered six-month-long trouble at the hands of a sick stalker who sent her a series of threatening e-mails and letters. The man’s obsession came to a dramatic end when he was arrested at his home on suspicion of harassing the broadcaster.
Around June 2014, she became a victim of another stalker. The man was not formally arrested but was questioned and warned by Gardai.
