- The beginning of Sydney’s full-time career was in 2011 in Terre Haute, Indiana. She worked as a News Anchor for the WTWO (NBC affiliate) and WAWV (ABC affiliate) for almost 3 years. Despite first applying for this job as a reporter, she was chosen to be an anchor.
- She then moved back to Cincinnati to work for WKRC-TV for around three years as a News Anchor / Reporter. Working for WKRC, her hometown network was one of her main career goals & happened much earlier than she anticipated.
