- Straight out of university, Vicki became a Weather Graphics Producer for Fox Broadcasting. Her main duty was to assist Chief Meteorologist Glenn Richards in producing the weather graphics for the 5 o’clock and 10 o’clock news.
- Her next venture was working with Weather Services International as a Customer Support Engineer. One of her main objectives was to help customers install the WSI hardware and coordinate installation and service calls with the field engineers.
- In 2008, Vicki moved to Alabama and became the Chief Meteorologist for WDHN-TV, an ABC affiliate in Dothan. She prepared the weather graphics on the Accuweather Galileo system that were used for the 5 pm, 6 pm, and 10 pm weather reports.
- In 2010, Vicki became the Weekend Meteorologist for WRDW-TV, a CBS affiliate in Augusta, Georgia. Here, she helped create the forecasts using the Weather Central 3D system used in news reports.
- She also helped improve weekend ratings and was the prime fill-in meteorologist for the weekday morning and evening shows.
- For the next five years, Vicki became the Weekend Morning Meteorologist for WSOC-TV, an ABC affiliate based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Some of her main duties included creating the graphics using the Weather Central Fusion system and educating students at local schools about severe weather safety. At WSOC,she was part of an Emmy-nominated weather team.
- After working for five years with WSOC, Graf left the network in May 2018. Currently, Vicki is the Meteorologist/Station Scientist for WFXT Boston 25 News, based in Boston, Massachusetts. Her work now goes beyond traditional meteorology, focusing on climate change and sustainability.
