- Cody was born as Dakota Wyatt Lohan on 16th June 1996, in New York City, where he has spent most of his life.
- He is of Irish, German and Italian ancestry.
- Lohan’s parents are Michael Lohan (American TV personality)and Dina Lohan. Dina and Michael were also born & brought up in New York. They divorced in 2007 after 22 years of marriage.
- Cody has three older siblings. Lindsay Lohan, Ali Lohan and Michael Lohan Junior.

- In 2016, he made a major breakthrough by signing with big time modelling agency IMG. This placed him in the company of stars such as Gigi and Bella Hadid.
