Early Life and First Marriage :
- Constance was born on December 23, 1951. Her maiden name is Metrejon.
- She was born to parents Ruby Mae Russell Metrejon (mother) and her husband, William Lee Metrejon (father). Her dad William worked in the Air Force and travelled a lot because of his work, which meant Constance’s family was constantly on the move.
- Constance dropped out of high school & married Anthony L. Bryant on 28th April 1969.
- Anthony & Constance welcomed two sons together, Shannon (born on March 9, 1970) and Jared (born on December 26, 1971) but filed for divorce just shortly after Jared was born. Anthony Bryant remarried but died a few years later in 1978 after committing suicide.
- As a single mother of two without a high school or college education, Constance relied on her parents to help her care for her children.
Marrying Again & Kids :
- After struggling for some years as a single mother, she eventually met and later married a man named Carl Leto who adopted her two sons and took in the entire family in 1979.
- Both Shannon and Jared adopted Carl’s last name which they use to this day.
- Constance and Carl later went on to have a daughter named Jaime Leto who lives a very quiet and private life, unlike her half-siblings.
