Early life :
- Not much is known about Veena Kaushal’s early life. She married her husband Sham Kaushal, and soon, they shifted their base from their native village in Punjab to Mumbai. She became the driving force for her husband and motivated him to remain consistent in his work as a stunt performer. Her inspiring words coupled with his hard work helped Sham to establish himself as a leading action director in Bollywood.

- Her family consists of her husband and two sons. Her husband, Sham Kaushal, has directed many action sequences. The superhero movie Krrish, action thriller Kaminey, Dhoom3, Gangs of Wasseypur and the medieval romantic tale of Bajirao Mastani showcase some of his best-known works. Together, they became parents to two sons- Vicky (born in 1988) and Sunny (born in 1989).

He started his career in Bollywood by assisting Anurag Kashyap in Gangs of Wasseypur and bagged the leading role in Masaan (2015).
