A multi-talented personality from the diverse land of India – Kettan Singh is an RJ, Actor & Model. In 2015, he had his movie „Solid Patels‟ released on the Box Office & soon enough, scored a lead role with the serial ‘Shankar Jai Kishan’ on SAB TV.
Personal Life : Parents, Family and Education
- Kettan was born and brought up in Mumbai.
- His Father’s name is Moti Chandra Singh.
- His brother and sisters are Pradeep Singh (elder brother living in Mumbai) & Swati Singh Taneja (married to Ankit Taneja and lives in New Delhi) respectively.
- With a huge family in hand, he has 5 cousins named Paretosha Singh, Pratik Singh, Vijayandra Singh, Akansha Singh and Shubha Singh.
- Kettan attended University of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India to complete his Bachelors.
- Right from his school days, he had a passion for acting, thus he took part in theatre plays.
- After entering College, his passion increased exponentially and he got himself some modelling gigs to work on. Along with modelling, he did numerous small plays ranging from Drama to comedy to others.
- He finally got a major break as a Radio Jockey on 92.7 Big FM which led him to interviewing celebrities like Ranveer Singh, Kapil Sharma & many others.
Early Profession & Acting Career :
- Stepping out of his RJ role, Kettan followed his childhood passion and made his debut in a movie called „Solid Patels‟ that released in 2015.
- He played the character of Jerry Patel, who along with his brother Tom Patel lives in Mumbai and both are unemployed. The two lead characters have girlfriends & a debt to pay to character Ranchod. The film is a rollercoaster ride resulting in moments of madness, hilarious scenarios & some emotional lessons for life.
- Kettan also played the real-life character named „Amol Palekar‟ in 2016 movie „7 Hours to go‟. In the movie, he starred alongside Shiv Pandit and Sandeepa Dhar. The film was based on true events and is a thriller about a hostage crisis in Mumbai & the 7 hours that ensued after it.
- In 2017, he started acting on a new TV show called „Shankar Jai Kishan – 3 in 1‟ in which he plays a triple role.
- The story is about a man called Kishan, who was the only survivor child out of the three brothers in an accident. But, his mother was in the hospital and unaware of the tragic incident and may have a heart attack on learning about it. Thus, Kishan plays the role of both of his dead brothers Jai and Shankar in order to keep his mother away from Death Bed. The show was launched on 8th August 2017 and has good TRP ratings.
