Lavanya Bhardwaj is an Indian television actor and model best known for his role as Sahadeva in the mythological TV show ‘Mahabharat.’ Lavanya was born on November 12, 1991, in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
Dating / Marriage and Family :
On February 5, 2016, he married an Indonesian lawyer, Dede Frescilla. They met during a shoot of an Indonesian show and got attracted to each other. After dating each other for a while, they decided to take their relationship to the next level and got hitched.
The marriage happened at Lavanya’s place with only close family and friends. The grand reception which followed the next day was at a suite in a posh Delhi hotel.
Their family also includes a baby girl born on October 14, 2016. They named the girl, Dakshita Bhardwaj.
Professional Life :
As a model, Lavanya has appeared in the advertisements of renowned brands like LG, Sunsilk, Lays, Big.Adda.com, D’Damas, Zen mobile, Priyagold, and many others.
On television, he first appeared in Balaji Telefilms’ show ‘Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki.’ This show was an Indian television epic series which premiered on the channel 9X in the year 2008. It was a modern version of the Indian epic ‘Mahabharata.’ Lavanya played the character of “Nakul’s” twin brother ‘Sahadeva’ (youngest among the Pandava Brothers). This show was a great hit among the Indian audience and was also broadcast in Indonesia. This was the reason, Lavanya gained a lot of fan following from the Indonesian audience.
Then he appeared on ‘Hamari Devrani,’ which was an Indian soap opera broadcast on Star Plus. The show became very popular and was aired for 4 long years (2008-2012). He played the character of an NRI, ‘Dev Kumar Sanghvi.’
In the year 2011, he played the character of ‘Nahusha’ in Indian mythological drama series based on the legends of Lord Shiva, ‘Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev.’
Mahabharat Once Again …:
In 2013, he appeared in another Indian mythological television drama series on Star Plus,’ Mahabharat.’ This show was also based upon the Sanskrit epic ‘Mahabharata.’ Interestingly, Lavanya once again played the same character of ‘Sahadeva.’
He sustained a lot of injuries during the shoot when he fell from the horse in different scenes. On July 15, 2014, Lavanya met with an accident while he was driving to the sets of the show in Umergaon, Gujarat, from Mumbai.
Due to bad weather and lack of sleep, he lost control of his car and dashed into a truck and later went on to hit the road divided. Fortunately, he came out of the accident without even a scratch on his body.
Career Outside India :
In 2016, Lavanya was seen in an Indonesian soap opera TV series, Senandung, which was produced by MD Entertainment. He played the character of Evan and was received well by the Indonesian audience. This further helped him in increasing the number of Indonesian followers.
Lavanya has been successful in winning many hearts with his dashing looks and excellent acting skills and hopefully will continue to do the same I’m the future.
