Personal Life, Parents and Family Details :
Aashika Bhatia was born in 1999 to her parents – Father Rakesh Bhatia and Meenu Bhatia in Surat, Gujarat. She later started living in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Unlike her role in Parvarrish, she is an obedient and docile child in real life. Viewers and critics alike praise her acting in the show.
Acting along with many top stars in her debut movie -Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, it was natural for her to be intimidated. In the press conference before the movie, she was visibly nervous and was even stuttering but felt encouraged due to the leading lady of the movie, Sonam Kapoor. No wonder she only has good things to say about her co-stars especially Salman Khan.
She found him not only to be a good actor but a great human being too. She got to learn so much from these senior actors.
With such a grand debut, it won’t be astonishing for us to see her in the leading role in movies in the near future.
Career and Professional Life :
At the age of 9, Aashika went for an audition for NDTV and won her first role in the show Meera. In the show, she played the character of Meera who falls in love with Lord Krishna. Her acting received due appreciation.
After that, she appeared in two episodes of Channel V’s show Gumrah in 2012. But her life-changing role was that of Gunwant Kaur Ahluwalia or Ginni on Parvarrish – Kuch Khatti Kuch Mithi in 2013. This show made her an overnight star. The show explores the dynamics between a teenage daughter and a strict mother.
Considering her age, her acting is above par than other mature actresses. No wonder she was scouting for roles in movies. Her struggle proved to be fruitful as she debuted with superstar Salman Khan in her first movie itself.
In her debut movie Prem Ratan Dhan Payo by Suraj Barjatya, she played the role of Rajkumari Radhika, Salman Khan’s sister in the movie. In the movie, their brother-sister bonding is worth looking and despite their big age difference, the chemistry between them was praiseworthy.
Her height is around 5 feet 1 inch. Her passion for dancing is common knowledge.
