In 2010, she shifted her focus from television to movies.
She won the Edison Award for Best Supporting Actress for playing Karthi’s friend in Naan Mahaan Alla. In 2014, she ventured into production as well with comedy movie Amali Thumali. She had to quit Thendral to perform her duties as a producer.
In 2015, she became the face of Indhulekha hair oil. The selfie campaign of the product garnered her even more attention. Among her upcoming projects, movie Vaaliba Raja is already in cinema released on 25th March 2016. Oyee will release on 8th April 2016 and Iruvar Ullam on 16th April.
