Introduction and Personal Life :
Scientist, Researcher Actress Niharica Raizada is known for her work in Bollywood films such as Massan, Waarrior Savitri, and Damadol. She was born in Luxembourg and brought up in different European countries – Germany, France and Belgium. She moved to Mumbai to pursue her Bollywood career, leaving her medicinal profession and both Europe behind.
➢ In London, she got her MRres degree in Translational Medicine. She had a splendid experience in her college days where studying and enjoying life at Imperial College was much fun.
➢ Her family included her parents – Her father is an Income Tax consultant and comes from Kanpur & her mother is a painter
➢ Further, she continued her studies and opted for research in the field of Cardiology. She did her research at Johns Hopkins University. She had a Fulbright scholarship for the same.
➢ Her love for dancing could not stop her from joining the western classical dance classes. She is also well trained in Kathak, Jazz, Ballet, and Bharatanatyam.
➢ Gradually she gained interest in acting and hence she joined New York Film Academy for the same.
➢ Later, she also participated in the beauty pageant Miss India UK Competition. She also won the competition in the year 2010. Miss India Worldwide 2010 also falls in her winning list. Niharica Raizada height is 5′7″.
Career and Professional Life :
➢ The Times named her one of the 50 Most Desirable Women of 2013, giving her 45th rank. In 2015 she got 44th rank.
➢ One of her first works in India was the Gorom Cha item song in Damadol Bengali movie.
➢ One of Her dreams is to work with PrabhuDeva, the dance legend of India. She is big fan of him and has seen him dancing from her childhood.
➢ When asked her about her dream movie that she would like to do in Bollywood. She replied that it’s her dream to work with the great director of the Hindi film industry – Mr. Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
➢ The music given by her grandfather is much alike in Sanjay’s film. This is one of the reasons that she would like to work in such films.
➢ 2016 was a big year for her as her movie Warrior Savitri was released and her as a lead. She did a bold song and did Martial Arts in the movie.
