- Louise Momber is an Australian journalist. Until December 2020, she was a reporter and TV presenter on Nine News Perth’s show Today Perth News.
- After 13 years, Louise resigned from 9NewsPerth and moved to Canberra with her family. Her husband was offered a lucrative job offer, and even Louise felt it was the right time for a change.

- Louise Caroline Momber was born on June 12th, in Perth, to Elizabeth (mother) and Peter Momber (father), a prestigious lawyer. In 2012, Louise lost both her mother and father to cancer. Elizabeth and Peter died within two months of each other.
- She has a sister, Antonia.
- Louise grew up in Perth and attended the St Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls in the Mosman Park area of the city.
- After graduating from St Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls, Louise attended Curtin University, also in Perth, WA. She graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Communication and Media Studies.

- She then branched out into being a newsreader for the radio station Austereo, after which she jumped into the world of television reporting.
- In 2007, Louise joined the ranks of Channel 9’s Nine News, where she was initially a senior reporter.
- Between 2008 and 2009, Louise was the presenter of the Perth version of A Current Affair. During her time presenting it, the show received three awards and an upwards spike in ratings.
- In December 2020, Momber bid adieu to Nine News, after working there for over 13 years. In July 2021, she took up a new job position – Communications Consultant (Canberra Bureau Chief) at Counsel Communications.

- She was also part of the teams reporting on Claire Murray’s battle to get a liver transplant, as well as on the historical discovery of the HMAS Sydney, a Royal Australian Navy ship.
- Louise’s youngest daughter, Margot, was born with hip dysplasia. She had to wear a brace for a few months as a baby and has since totally recovered.
- For the first years of their relationship and marriage, Louise and Rob lived in different cities due to their jobs. Rob also used to work in Perth for Channel 7. However, he received a great job offer in Canberra and the whole family moved to the new city.
