She studied Public Relations, then took time off from school after entering Miss Alabama pagaent in 2014.
After winning Miss Alabama USA, Ahlberg left her representative state and moved to California, where she began getting acting roles.

She studied interior architecture and design at The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Early Career and Life before Winning Miss Alabama :

Although Jesica is most known for her crowning as Miss Alabama USA, she actually began her acting career a few years before then, when she was still attending school at Auburn.

Her first role was for the TV series Single Ladies, a show about three women looking to start careers and relationships in Atlanta, Georgia. Ahlberg played Nicolette’s assistant for one episode.
She then went on to appear in two music videos for Justin Moore: “Lettin’ the Night Roll” and “Point at You.” In both videos, she played Moore’s girlfriend.
In 2013, she appeared on Necessary Roughness for three episodes, the most she’d done for a single show yet.

Ahlberg’s career got a bit of a boost from her appearance in the beauty competition, Miss Alabama USA.

After she won, she decided to stop school so she could focus on the follow-up competition, Miss USA. While she didn’t win Miss USA, the focus she’d been putting on her career allowed her to see that going back to Auburn University wouldn’t feel fulfilling to her.
Now in California, Jesica focuses on her love of fashion and design while also continuing her acting career.
After a few more background appearances on some TV shows and movies, Ahlberg landed a role as a first-class flight attendant in the film Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip.
