- Molly was born & raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles, California.
- Around five generations of her family have lived in Los Angeles!
- As a result, many family members, including Molly, developed a fanatic liking for The Dodgers!
- Ever since, she was six or seven years old, Molly has been able to rattle off baseball statistics to anyone, to whoever cared to listen!
- Mike Piazza was her favorite baseball player, during her growing years.
- Sadly, she has always been a victim of anxiety disorder and depression, right from her college days.
- She keeps a stock of anti-depressants with her, for whenever she might need them.

- Molly got a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University in 2003.
- Initially, she focused on Human Biology from 1999 onward & even found Organic Chemistry too difficult to master.
- As a result, she could not go to medical school.
- Then, she acquired knowledge about a different kind of chemistry via a degree from the National Bartenders School, Redwood City.
Career Growth, Salary and Net worth : An Interesting Story
- When Molly moved to New York City, with the intention of becoming an author, Molly had just about $300 in her pocket and her license for bartending with her.
- After years of waiting tables at Lower Manhattan, taking up internships, etc, Molly got the idea of doing music reviews for an indie-rock magazine & charged a measly $5 per review.
- Next, she joined FHM as an intern & later on became their editorial assistant.
- When one of FHM’s editors moved to ESPN, he permitted Molly to freelance for the establishment.
- In January 2006, she landed the job of Contributing Writer for ESPN, the Magazine. ESPN granted her an official contract in 2008.
- Meanwhile, Molly continued her waitressing and bartending duties to supplement her income.
- She left ESPN in April 2014, in order to write her book.
- Simon & Schuster published The Best Team Money Can Buy: The Los Angeles Dodgers’ Wild Struggle to Build a Baseball Powerhouse on July 14, 2015. It became a bestseller within ten days of its release, changing her life completely!

- Molly eats, breathes and sleeps baseball!
- Her panic attacks led her to undertake vigorous workouts, and today, she is unable to stop exercising!
- She is heavily into meditation and reading books on mindfulness. She loves to listen to Tara Brach’s audio talks on meditation.
- She plans to write more books in future.
