Working then with NBC10, Nefertiti was the first to report that Wilson had passed away, even before he was officially pronounced dead. Wilson was declared deceased at Temple University Hospital around 6:25 p.m., while Jaquez’s report came approximately an hour earlier, with her sharing the news on air shortly after 5:30 p.m. However, within 15 minutes, the station clarified that Wilson was still in critical condition.
