  • Sangram Chougule comes from the Karveer taluka of the Kolhapur district in Maharashtra, India. His family also includes his two brothers & a sister. His parents – father and mother were school teachers, but the overall financial condition of the family was not that great.
  • After completing school, he headed to Bhudargad to complete his ‘Diploma in Electrical Engineering’ from a Polytechnic college. After that, he secured admission at the Arts stream at ‘Modern College’ in Pune.
  • In the years leading to graduation, his bodybuilding career started to took off. Sangram participated in the inter-college competition ‘Maratha Shri’ at Garware College in Pune. His professors continued to support him to participate in such competitions.
  • In 2006, he got the title ‘The Great Maratha Shree.’ Continuing his efforts, he won the title ‘Pune Shree’ in 2008. Later, he went on to win Mr. World in 2012 and Mr. Universe in 2014
  • He also owns and runs the PHYSC GYM CHAIN as a business. There was some news that he will also make a debut in Marathi movie named Dambh.

Sangram Chougule Workout and Diet
  • During the time Sangram wants to bulk up on muscle, he works out for three hours. When the competition season is on, he works out for about 4-5 hours. He combines strength and cardio exercises to build muscle and to avoid fat.
  • He also does running and does yoga sometimes to balance the workout.
  • His daily diet is focused around 5-6 solid meals containing different sources of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats and then 2-3 protein shakes. Shakes are used when his body requires quick replenishment like post-workout or the first thing in the morning
