- Dr Zoe Shaw was born in Nashville, Tennessee to young parents. Her father was a medical school student and her mom was a University student. Zoe’s father went back to residency and changed to psychiatry after being an ER doctor for many years.
- She grew up in rural Maryland among very little diversity. Her self-esteem suffered as she was trying to find her place in the world.
- She was curious about people and their behavior since she started “studying” psychology as 4 years old, sitting in her mom’s psychology class in college.
