  • Kevin Green was born on September 21, 1968, in Burry Port, a small town in South Wales.
  • The son of a dairy farmer, Kevin had a younger sister, Julie. Unfortunately, Julie died from complications due to lupus when Kevin was twenty-two years old.
  • As a young child, Kevin was dyslexic and struggled while attending the Queen Elizabeth Boys Grammar School in Carmarthen from 1980 to 1993.
  • He then attended Gelli Aur Agricultural College, which was a much better experience.
  • In 1984, at the age of nineteen and after extended conflict with his father, Kevin left home without money or a plan.
  • He ended up living on the streets of Yeovil, Somerset, and begged for food. The gutsy Kevin managed to turn his life around.
  • Green is now married, and has three children: Llinos (29), Carwyn (27), and Emyr (26) (ages as of 2023).
  • He spends time between his homes in Spain and in the United Kingdom.

  • While living on the streets in the mid-1980s, Kevin applied for a job in dairy management, and started working at the Trill Farm Dairy in Sherborne, Dorset.
  • Following his sister’s untimely death, Kevin reconciled with his father and moved back to the home farm, expanding it and raising his family.
  • At the age of 37, having achieved all he could at the farm, Kevin applied for the Nuffield Farming Scholarship, which he was awarded.
  • This allowed him to go on the Mindset for Success programme, and Kevin travelled the world, speaking to entrepreneurs at the top of their game.
  • After a meeting with tycoon Richard Branson, Kevin borrowed some money and invested in his first property, an old house which he renovated and sold at a profit. This was the beginning of his stratospheric career in property development and real estate.
  • Since 2000, he has been the owner of Kevin Green Lettings.
  • In 2009, he appeared on the Channel 4 show The Secret Millionaire, where he donated 60,000 GBP to charities helping the homeless and resourceless youth.

    You probably don’t remember me, it was such a long time ago – but you can bet there is not a day that goes by that I do not remember Julie.

    Life changes so much and what you hold dear is so suddenly and unexpectantly taken away. My boys are healthy and happy, which is the greatest/most important thing for me, but I hold dear to my memories. I am glad things are going so well for you. I hope you are happy and your family healthy and content. Do you still see Handbrake? And your mother, Rose – when I think of that awful two years I spent in Cwmduad…the shining light was your mum and her smile.
