Dr. Shefali Tsabary is a clinical psychologist in private practice in New York, where she works with families in crisis. She is probably best known as a parenting expert with a regular spot on the popular The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Dr. Shefali’s combination of the ‘East meets West’ approach assists adults in evolving into who they need to become in their relationships with children.

So at the age of 12, Shefali decided that she wanted to leave India. Her dream of moving to America came to fruition at the age of 21, thus escaping the constraints of her native country.
On her arrival, Shefali studied at the California Institute of Integral Studies.

Her next stop was at Teacher College, Columbia University in New York City between 2003 and 2008. From here, she graduated with a PH. D in Clinical Psychology.
Her Master’s Degree is in Drama Therapy.

Dr. Shefali has founded her own company called Global Inner Disarmament. In her practice, she helps clients disarm inner conflicts in order to live a freer life.
She is a best-selling author of the New York Times Bestsellers such as ‘The Conscious Parent,’ ‘Mindful Living’ and ‘Out of Control.’
Dr. Tsabary also conducts webinars and posts videos online in order to reach a wider audience.
