- Hannah Wang was born on April 18, 1989, in Sydney, Australia, to Chinese immigrant parents.
- She was raised by her grandparents, and her mother also moved into the household when Hannah was seven.
- Hannah attended Barker College, an Anglican co-ed day and boarding school in North Shore, Sydney, from 2000 to 2006, when she graduated with a Higher School Certificate.
- She then attended the International College of Management in Sydney, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Events Managements in 2010.
- From 2009 to 2011, Hannah also attended the University of Sydney, where she graduated from with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and English.
