Stephanie Himonidis was born in January of 1981 and grew up in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Stephanie is married to a programming manager named Gerardo Lopez.

The couple worked together for the Spanish Broadcasting System but were fired after they refused to participate in a payola scheme which was illegal.
They tied the knot in Vallarta Port, Mexico in 2014.
In 2021, the couple welcomed their baby daughter, Capri Blu. They had struggled for several years to conceive and eventually turned to IVF treatment for getting pregnant.

Stephanie’s career began in 1997 when she started working for Grupo Televisa as a news intern. Here, she spent a little over 2 years learning how to write news bulletins and also monitored and produced content for the station.
Stephanie left Grupo Televisa in early 1999 to become an on-air personality for Nuclear Radio Guadalajara. In her first interview for the station, she got to interview actress, singer, and businesswoman Jessica Simpson.

In 2002, Himonidis moved to Fresno, California, so that she could work for Azteca America as an on-camera talent.
In August 2005, she started working for CBS Radio for over two years before joining Entravision Communications as a morning show TV host.
For the next five years, Stephanie lived and worked in San Diego, California as an on-air personality. She was also a judge on a Spanish hit reality TV series called ¡Viva el Sueño! which aired on the Univision Network.

In March of 2009, she relocated to Los Angeles and became an on-air personality and host for the Los Angeles La 101.9 radio station.
Himonidis also worked for KLOVE 107.5 FM and La Nueva 103.5.
In 2011, she joined the Univision Television Group as a host for the show Despierta America LA. She worked on the show for a little over 3 years before creating and hosting her own show called Chiqui Baby which aired on the Spanish Broadcasting System.

Despite the success of the show, Stephanie and her husband George were fired by the network after they uncovered an illegal money scheme within the network and refused to participate in it.
After leaving the show, she went on to host and produce several other programs for different networks that included Telemundo.
Currently, Stephanie is a full-time host and contributor based in Los Angeles. She works for Telemundo West Coast and NBC Universal.

Throughout her career, she received six Emmy Awards including one for Outstanding Morning Program in Spanish.
