- Alyssa Quijano is a Filipino-American singer. She is famous for dating singer Charice Pempengco (later name Jake Zyrus). Charice changed her name to Jake after his gender transition from female to male.
- Alyssa dated Jake when he was still Charice. Back then, Charice was a rising sensation & was called by Oprah “the most talented girl in the world.” Charice was also a part of the renowned series Glee and has over four record albums.

- Her parents are Liza Ramos Pingol Galloway and Tom Galloway. Her mother is from the Philippines but her dad is American, originally from Fairfax, Virginia.

- After finishing her studies & beginning a steady career like her parents wanted, Alyssa tried her luck on The X Factor Philippines in 2012, where she appeared on two episodes: “The Auditions” and “Bootcamp day 2.”
- Previously, in 2009, she had tried for Are you the Next Star?, a TV series where she reached the nineteen top performances in 2009.
- Currently, she is working at a studio recording collaborations with various artists and looking to record her first single. She has worked with Suklay Diva, another rising star that participated in a talent show much like American idol but in the Philippines.
