In the animated film, Hoodwinked: The True Story of Little Red Riding Hood, Benjy played the part of a hilarious singing goat, Japeth, who can only sing when he attempts to speak because of a spell cast on him years earlier. Produced by the Academy Award-winning Weinstein Brothers, the movie was a feature-length animated comedy. In the film, Gaither worked alongside artists such as James Belushi, Glenn Close, Ann Hathaway, Andy Dick, Anthony Anderson, and Patrick Warburton.
