For her education, she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production with Simon Fraser University in 2012. She visited India for the first time during this time as a part of a part-time project. She is also a member of the Indo-Canadian Business Chamber (ICBC).
Most of her business partners and associates are Maharashtrians, thus she has been immersed in Marathi culture since her stay in India since 2012. On her blog she mentions that she is an introvert in real life.
