Samidha Guru, a Marathi actress was born and brought up in Nagpur, but moved to Mumbai for pursuing her acting career.

For her education, she went to Lokanchi Shala in Nagpur. Later she also completed her BSc and was a teacher in a school in Nagpur for two years, before entering the world of acting.

Her family also has a background in theatre and writing. Additionally, her sister is a kathak dancer.
