Brigida Santos is a correspondent, host, investigative journalist, and producer who is based in Los Angeles, California.
Hard working and passionate about her causes, Santos has always been outspoken about various political and social issues that not only affect her but other people around the world as well.

Personal Life : Parents, Family and Education

Coming from a family of Portuguese descent, Brigida was born to parents Fred and Kathy Santos. Her father is of Macau descent.
Her younger brother, Luis Felipe Watson (born 1986) died on October 4, 2008, after being stabbed on the San Diego State University campus. Luis, also known as Lu, was walking with his friends back home after attending a party.

Unfortunately for the Santos family, some of Lu’s killers were not given their due punishment. They received reduced sentences on account of an alleged backdoor deal under then-Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s administration.
Brigida is a graduate from the California State University, Northridge (CSUN). She has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Career, Job, Salary and Net Worth :

Brigida began her career in August 2013, working as an intern for Allison Shearmur Productions in Los Angeles. Santos only worked for the company for five months.

In 2014, Santos produced a feature film titled “Searching for Katie” and released it on Vimeo the same year.
She also produced a short film called “Stefano Formaggio” which follows a story about a dark secret held by an Italian Cheese-Maker.

In addition to “Searching for Katie” and “Stefano Formaggio,” Brigida also produced a web musical series called “Destroy the Alpha Gammas.” The 6 episode series won several awards and was well-received by a lot of viewers.
Aside from working as a producer, Santos has also worked as a contributor for the Los Angeles-based ATTN network for 1 year from 2014 to 2015.
She also hosted and produced a show called “Off the Grid” alongside the legendary Jesse Ventura. The show aired on Ora TV and focused on a wide variety of political issues. When it aired, the show was the most-watched series on the network.

In January of 2015, Santos joined RT America and began working as a producer and correspondent. Brigida is still with the network and has covered various breaking news stories, from the 2016 USA presidential elections to the terrorist attacks in San Bernardino. She has also produced and written investigatory reports on Yemen and Libyan conflicts.
