Dawn was born on June 18, 1961, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Aside from her four years in college, she has mostly lived in her home state.
Hard work and perseverance run in the Timmeney family. Dawn’s dad, Jim, served in the Korean War and worked as a realtor well past his retirement age.
Her mom, Barbara, still works as a realtor, while younger sister, Jen Callahan, is an attorney and shareholder at a law firm in Philadelphia.

In December of 1993, Dawn married former art gallery owner, Michael ‘Mike’ Tracy.

The trio also started Camp AsthmaCadabra for kids who could not experience a regular outdoor camp because of their asthma. The foundation was established in 1994, and the camp has been running since 1998.
