The supporter took offense that Kallergis went live on Channel 13 during a prayer. The shoving happened on-air, and Wrigley stepped in to diffuse the situation.
- On another occasion, Wrigley had completed a report on the proposed Houston Fire Department contract. On her way home, she was hit by another car that missed the red light. There were no fatalities, only minor injuries, and Wrigley met the Houston Fire Department paramedics again. In a humorous post, Wrigley said she really didn’t need that meeting but thanked the paramedic, Matt, a former Marine, and the accident investigator who managed to keep everyone calm during the accident.
