She is the daughter of refugees from the Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia, Kimberly learned the value of hard work helping in her parents’ donut shop…a business they built from scratch – Twice!
Her dad did not even speak English back then but went on to master the language and also got a Bachelor’s degree in Business. The shop he set up along with his wife, supported their family of six!

Kimberley is a graduate from the University of Southern California (USC), with a double-degree in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science.
