Her grandfather was an Army retired General, and her mother is an author. She went by Natasha Curry, taking her mother’s maiden name for her television career.
She studied at the Sichuan Union University in China, at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University, and earned a B.A. in Biology with an emphasis on Chemistry from Pacific Lutheran University.
