  • Anqunette revealed that she was experiencing memory problems and numb limbs, and more seriously, she once fell face first in her kitchen.
  • She took a quiz in WebMD, which prompted her to consult a doctor. Q had an MRI scan and spinal tap, which led to the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2013.
  • Since retiring from broadcasting, Jamison became passionate about lowering costs for MS patients. Her cost estimate was $100,000 per annum, where $70,000 was spent on MS drugs and $30,000 spent on drugs for side effects.
  • Nonetheless, her symptoms did not recede, and at times she would be admitted to the hospital for extreme vomiting.
  • Anqunette was eventually introduced to marijuana, which she claims has helped quell her symptoms more effectively than conventional medicine. She went from using nine prescriptions a day to zero after making some dietary modifications and utilizing cannabis.
  • Ever since then, she has taken on a leadership role in the fight of legalizing marijuana use throughout the country.
