Hanna Prater is the long-time girlfriend & partner of the four-time German Formula One champion Sebastian Vettel. She is also set to make a name for herself in the fashion industry.

Personal Life : Parents, Family and Education

Hanna was born in 1988 to parents from different nationalities – an English mother and a German father.
Raised in Heppenheim, Germany, she was bilingual with proficiency in both English and German by the age of 4.
She is a big fan of soccer and supports the team Barcelona FC.

She has routinely declined any opportunities to speak to the media as she is notoriously private, which has earned her respect in the Formula One industry, as she is not just another wife or girlfriend stealing the spotlight.

She did not have much interest in him back then.
After leaving high school, the two began a long-distance relationship. Hanna stayed in Germany while he was required to be in Switzerland for his upcoming racing career with Ferrari.
In 2010, they decided to forge forward & really get serious, with Vettel purchasing a home for the both of them in Thurgau, Switzerland.

Their first daughter Emilie Vettel was born on 12th January 2014 and was followed by little Matilda Vettel in September of 2015.
The two were rumoured to have secretly married in 2014, in her childhood home shortly before their first child’s birth. Both of them have laughed off those rumours, and as of 2019, have confirmed that they are not married as they do not feel the need for it just yet.
When asked why she does not attend Vettel’s races like the other Formula One WAG’s, she has stated that the racing arena is simply a place of work for him & she has no desire to go there and distract him.

Having been taught to sew at a young age by her maternal grandmother, Prater dreamed of being a fashion designer.

After graduating from high school, she was offered a place at the prestigious Baden Wurttemberg Fashion School, where she majored in textile design.
She impressed many of her professors there with her eye for detail.
After her graduation, she secured work with print fashion, and made a name for herself styling for Look Magazine.

She also worked in the S. Oliver Fashion House, and credits her time there for instilling a strong work ethic in her.
After taking a break to have her children, she is rumoured to be working on her own line of accessories, which will be available in 2018.
