I find nothing to respect in Elie Mystal. He is a Black Supremacist who seethes with hate and rage against a white society that has given him far more success than he deserves. Particularly vile is his op-ed that urges black jurors to never vote to convict a black defendant who commits a crime against a white victim. It doesn’t seem to faze him that he is exhorting readers who sit on juries to commit perjury when they take the jurors’ oath to decide the case on the basis of the evidence, even though Mystal wants them to decide the case on the basis of skin color.
Why does MSNBC provide a forum for his anti-white hate? He is not even a good journalist. He frequently utters broad, sweeping, and wholly speculative generalities about the motivations behind the beliefs held by various groups, without any factual basis for such views. Race relations are unlikely to ever improve as long as Mystal and others of similar persuasions are influential.

I cannot resist. What Trump did was turn in an actor’s performance of questionable quality because he was not believable to over 84 million people. In fact, he lost by a landslide, and for good reasons. And to say that minority employment depended on what he did is to ignore all the other efforts that came before him. Minority employment had been steadily decreasing long before his one term as president.
And furthermore, employment is just one aspect that deserves consideration in life. No doubt, the black community had its highest employment during slavery. Just because a job is available doesn’t mean employment is a good thing. There is much more to life and a chump-change job does not deliver the goods.
The survival of this country is firmly rooted in the truths that are being brought to the surface by Mr. Mystal and folks like him. We ignore him at our peril.

You need to make a correction…When a person graduates from Harvard with an undergraduate degree i.e, BA degree. This person has graduated from Harvard College…not Harvard University. A graduate degree would be from Harvard University, i.e MBA degree.
Where to start? All people are flawed. Me, Mystal, you. Take off the blinders, stop the hyperbole, As a white man of 73 years, I will know progress has been made when people can walk in communities different from theirs, without fear. Xenophobia, you say, self-preservation, I say. So much to do, but, if you think you can change human nature from one side of the equation I have an outhouse to sell you.

Is anybody applying any critical thinking to what this man has been saying? Clearly, they don’t teach anything of love, forgiveness, or wisdom at Harvard. This man could be a hero for building bridges to unity, but he wants vengeance! He can explain why to his God at some point in his future.
