Introduction :
Cornell Belcher is an American pollster and political analyst. He is most well-known for being one of the campaign strategists for the Democratic Party and working at CNN for many years.
Cornell Belcher Family and Early Life : Why Politics?
- Berchel was born in 1969 in Virginia.
- In an interview for The Washington Post in 2011, Cornell confessed that being a pollster was not his first idea when he was a young teenager, but he remembers that he also wanted to get involved in politics. This fascination with DC began when he first visited the city.
- Growing up in the South, he interacted with people whose life backgrounds were completely different from his. Some of his friends “even had Confederate flags at home,” he says. Cornell mentions that people do not let go of those traditions even though their political contexts change. This had always intrigued him and was also one of the reasons he decided to enter the world of politics.

- Belcher attended the James Madison University.
- In 2001, he founded “Brilliant Corners Research & Strategies,” an internationally recognized polling firm.
- He once admitted having struggled in many of the political organizations he was a part of. It was difficult to make his voice heard & not having the opportunity to represent the minorities led him to create his own organization.
- The experienced analyst has served on the polling team for both Obama Presidential campaigns in 2008 & 2012. Later, over the years, she has worked with both Senate and House Democrats as Senior Political Advisor.
- Belcher released his original book, A Black Man in the White House, in 2016.
- This book about Obama’s presidency term gave Belcher newfound recognition, giving him the opportunity of getting interviewed and listened to in several press conferences.
- Besides the book & his polling work, Cornell has also contributed to CNN with his sharp political analysis for many years.
Awards and Achievements :
- Harvard University considers Cornell “one of the premier strategists in national progressive politics.”
- The magazine “Black Enterprise” chose Cornell as one of the “100 Men of Distinction” in 2017. Cornell was interviewed about this & he said this in his acknowledgment “this means that perhaps he has done something with his life up to the point that helps improve the conditions of his community and country.”
- He has been featured in a variety of media outlets, including the famous The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Black Enterprise.

- Cornell defines himself as a “restless explorer” and would like to go “island-hopping” and sail the Pacific. Unfortunately, he says he can’t unwind, and his job and political worries are always on his mind. He admits that this behavior may have been beneficial for his career, but it also damages some aspects of one’s personal life.
Cornell has many years of experience in political research for campaign purposes and message development. That is why he is so valued by the Democrats & is considered highly reliable by journalists that need sound political advice.

Is Belcher gay?
My grandfather’s name was Oran Dudley Belcher. His great-grandfather was Jacob de Cardova who was one of the founders of Waco, Texas. Jacob was from Jamaica where his family started the Daily Gleaner.. His family was originally driven from Spain in the late 1700’s. I have always been proud of you, and have hoped that you may be a relative. I am very much for a second stimulus plan for at least $500 weekly, for individuals who cannot get jobs. I was watching you on Meet The Press today and it’s still disappointing to me how every one kept speaking so highly of Pete Buttigieg I too was excited about him until I saw the true Buttigieg. How soon do we forget when he left the campaign to deal with the controversies of his state of Indiana Police office as the mayor. Look at the vide when he was in the room just look at his face with all the anger he gave of I had to leave my campaign to deal with You People. And when the man said to him you will not get my vote and he turn around with that same dead look in his eyes and said I’m not here for your vote!
But when he said because I could not get it done at the debate all the young up and coming African American Women and Men who I like, said that was so authentic he is being honest not like Joe Biden who would not admit to something that happen back in 1994.Like he was the only Democratic that voted for the crime bill. Well I’m sorry because he could not get it done as a mayor why should I vote for him as President Of The United States To not Get It Done!
